This assignment was an opportunity for me to learn and apply the basics of identity design to a company that we created. Our professor assigned the students one of four geographic regions: Portland Oregon, Vail Colorado, Brooklyn New York, and Miami Florida. We then got to chose from a handful of store types, which had previously assigned names.
I was assigned the Miami, Florida area, and choose to have a specialty food company called Crackle. I love to cook and I am continually working on a healthy diet, so I knew I would enjoy working with this new company.
When I was finishing high school, my family took a trip to the southern east coast. While enjoying the warm ocean and the beautiful scenery, we tasted great seafood. I took the memory of these sensations and used them to shape the Crackle business.
